Under Arrest was a recurring series that was a summer replacement for The Shadow on Mutual each year from 1946 to 1948. Between 1949 and 1954 it aired outside of the summer season in different time slots. Craig McDonnell is credited in the main role of Captain John Drake during the early seasons, while Joe DeSantis plays Captain Jim Scott on all the episodes in circulation.
