Stella Dallas was adapted from Olive Higgins Prouty's 1923 novel and ran on NBC from 1937 to 1955, picking up the story after the film ended and following Stella's efforts to protect her married daughter Laurel. Anne Elstner played Stella for the whole eighteen-year run. Public-domain transfers from the Internet Archive.
