This upload contains 708 episodes of Bing Crosby's radio programs, which spanned over three decades. Harry Lillis Crosby, Jr., better known as Bing Crosby (1903-1977) was one of the early giants of entertainment. Popular in movies and radio, and later television, Bing's "crooner" singing style captivated millions and made him one of the biggest draws of the era. Radio was made for Bing, and vice-versa. Crosby loved the informality of the medium, and he was the driving force in allowing prime time programs to transition from live broadcasts to transcription. Bing was a mainstay of radio for over 30 years, starting with his first solo radio show in September 1931. Crosby would continue on radio until 1962. The collection below is a compilation of all of his different shows during the era: 1. 15 Minutes With Crosby (1931-1933) - 1 Episode 2. Woodbury Soap (1933-1935) - 2 Episodes 3. Digitised by the Old Time Radio Researchers and streamed from the Internet Archive item “general-electric-show-52-54-1952-12-25-12-guest-gary-crosby”; these recordings are in the public domain.
