A Collection of Aussie Radio Shows No 69 "With Vocal Refrain" was a 13 part series of programs for ABC radio in 1975, featuring the British born singer Alan Dean. Alan was born in East Ham UK on August 1st. 1924. He worked with a number of British bands including Oscar Rabin, Ambrose, Jimmy Leach and the Johnson Brothers. Alan migrated to Australia and is resident in Sydney. This series for ABC radio spotlights the Great singers of the 20th Century. He is accompanied in the program the ABC Sydney Show band conducted by Eric Jupp and supported by The Peter Flanagan singers.
