The note
This is the strangest artefact in the wing, and a genuinely instructive one. A paint industry bureau co-produced a civil defence film whose thesis is that litter and peeling paint kill — test footage of houses igniting, cut to a message about tidiness. As pure audio the narration's sincerity is the whole show. Public domain.
